Mommy was too busy to post these last month, but I really enjoyed sakura time.  The cherry blossoms in the neighborhood were so pretty!

Mommy said I had to pose with them, which I did as long as she gave me a treat.  Of course all I really wanted to do was eat the blossoms Mommy and Daddy posed in front of me.  Then they got stuck in my beard and I didn’t really like that.

I can’t wait for next year to eat more sakura–I mean pose with the sakura!  Woof!

Rain

You know, I really haven’t enjoyed all the rain we have been having lately.  I hate getting wet.

Luckily it didn’t rain much today so I didn’t get as soaked as I did in earlier rainstorms this year.  It isn’t fun to be a wet dog!  Woof!

Best walkies!

I had the best walkies ever today!  I ran into a bunch of my friends: Hera, Cricket, Jade, Happy and Goose.  We got to walk around the neighborhood together.

I love being with my pack, it’s so much better than walkies just with Mommy or Daddy.  I hope I run into them again soon, woof!

It’s still warm out today, but way cooler than it was last week.  I had a fun summertime walkies this afternoon, including checking out this hydrangea.

It’s so pretty!  I love seeing the sights and smells in the neighborhood for my walkies.  Even better, I got a treat after taking this photo for being a good boy.  I am a good boy, aren’t I?  Woof!

Today on my morning walkies, I met another Norwich named Ginger!  I don’t run into many Norwich Terriers, so this meeting was extra special.

She’s just visiting, unfortunately, otherwise I think I could have made a new Norwich friend.  She scared me a bit with her growling, but I know she would have warmed up to me over time.  Hopefully Ginger will come back and visit soon, woof!

Today is National Pet Day, otherwise known as National Me Day!  I’m pretty excited about this since it is a day in celebration and me and my pet brethren, but I was less than impressed with the fact that Mommy tried to take my picture without offering me a treat while we were on our walkies.

She tried one more time.  I was still not impressed.  Show me the treats, Mommy!

I did get a small piece of banana when we got home, though, that was a lot of fun!  How are you celebrating National Pet Day?  Be sure to give us lots of love and extra treats today!  Woof!

It has been wet outside over the past few days, especially yesterday.  I hate getting wet, it’s absolutely the worst!  Here’s a selfie of me after going on walkies yesterday afternoon.

Mommy says we need the rain, but I just wish it didn’t mean I have to get wet.  I’m miserable when I’m wet!  Woof!

January walkies

It’s only January but the weather is so warm out!  One of the flowering trees has already bloomed and is losing its flowers.  They still look pretty on the grass after they have fallen.  I would have rather just admired them from afar, but Mommy insist I take a photo with them.

I can’t wait for the other flowers to bloom in our neighborhood!  Woof!

Walkies

It’s been a little cold outside, at least for LA standards, but I still have been enjoying the sun when we go on my daily afternoon walkies.  One of my favorite things to do is to hunt squirrels–so much that I don’t have time to look at Mommy when she’s trying to take my picture.

I suppose you could say that I look very thoughtful, but let me tell you the truth: I’m hunting for squirrels because they like to run on the telephone wire next to my home.  You never know when one will go by when Daddy is trying to open the door!  I hope that I can find one really soon, woof!

Rain

I really dislike the rain.  Mommy says we need the rain, but I don’t want to get my paws wet!  We haven’t had rain for a very long time but got a lot of rain on Monday and Tuesday and I didn’t like it.  There was water everywhere.  Not only do my paws and fur get wet, I have to cross puddles and lots of water at corners!  Luckily, I usually just look up at Daddy like this:

When I give Daddy this look, he knows to pick me up.  Yup, that’s right, my Daddy will carry me across the puddles and rivers so I don’t have to walk through them.  Isn’t that great?  Thanks, Daddy!  Now how about taking that umbrella out with us so water doesn’t fall on my head as well?  Woof!
