Fourteen!

Hi everyone, it has been a while! Sorry I have been quiet – my humans have been too busy to help me blog, but I will do my best to change that in 2023 and remind them that they need to help their Mochi. Today is a very special day – I turned 14! We celebrated with a nice walk (where Daddy had to carry me part way)…

…and then a pup-cake, yay!

For some reason, Mommy said I could only eat half today. I don’t really understand why, you only turn fourteen once after all.

Needless to say, I ate every single crumb.

It was delicious! I’m looking forward to eating the other half, hopefully very soon. Woof!

Rotini, what are you?

I recently met someone new in the neighborhood. His name is Rotini. I have no idea what he is, he seemed a bit unusual for a dog. Daddy says Rotini is a pig, I don’t know what that means.

We sniffed each other then I tried to eat Rotini’s food pellets that Rotini’s human was dropping. Daddy wouldn’t let me eat them. What a mean Daddy. I’m hoping to sneak one next time we meet, maybe when Daddy isn’t looking. Hope to see you soon, Rotini! Woof!

Halloween

Happy Halloween everyone! To celebrate, I went to visit the most decorated spot in the neighborhood.

Pretty fancy, huh? I think the pumpkins are pretty cool. I was, however, less impressed by this gargoyle.

Do you think that it is trying to steal my treats? I don’t trust that look it is giving me, those are my treats. Maybe let’s go look at the pumpkins again, okay? Woof!

Lights

Daddy bought some LED lights for my harness so everyone can see me at night.  I’m not really sure about them, though.

What do you think?  Do you think my bling is cool?  I’m hoping that it might snag me some extra treats, woof!

Halloween

Halloween is coming up this week.  I don’t really know what that is about, but I do know that some people have added some strange looking things to their yard.  I’m not really sure what to make of them.

Are they friend or foe?!  I don’t know!  Better just bark at them to make sure they know I’m in charge, woof!

Dreaming of sakura

Mommy was too busy to post these last month, but I really enjoyed sakura time.  The cherry blossoms in the neighborhood were so pretty!

Mommy said I had to pose with them, which I did as long as she gave me a treat.  Of course all I really wanted to do was eat the blossoms Mommy and Daddy posed in front of me.  Then they got stuck in my beard and I didn’t really like that.

I can’t wait for next year to eat more sakura–I mean pose with the sakura!  Woof!

Rain

You know, I really haven’t enjoyed all the rain we have been having lately.  I hate getting wet.

Luckily it didn’t rain much today so I didn’t get as soaked as I did in earlier rainstorms this year.  It isn’t fun to be a wet dog!  Woof!

Best walkies!

I had the best walkies ever today!  I ran into a bunch of my friends: Hera, Cricket, Jade, Happy and Goose.  We got to walk around the neighborhood together.

I love being with my pack, it’s so much better than walkies just with Mommy or Daddy.  I hope I run into them again soon, woof!

 

Summertime walkies

It’s still warm out today, but way cooler than it was last week.  I had a fun summertime walkies this afternoon, including checking out this hydrangea.

It’s so pretty!  I love seeing the sights and smells in the neighborhood for my walkies.  Even better, I got a treat after taking this photo for being a good boy.  I am a good boy, aren’t I?  Woof!

Meeting Ginger

Today on my morning walkies, I met another Norwich named Ginger!  I don’t run into many Norwich Terriers, so this meeting was extra special.

She’s just visiting, unfortunately, otherwise I think I could have made a new Norwich friend.  She scared me a bit with her growling, but I know she would have warmed up to me over time.  Hopefully Ginger will come back and visit soon, woof!
