Stripped :(

I got stripped this weekend.  I’m so embarassed.

What’s that?  Oh, you want to know what stripped means.  I’m a terrier and I have a double coat, so instead of shedding like crazy all the time, my hair keeps on growing until it is pulled out by hand.  That’s why sometimes I look super busy like a little bear, and sometimes I look small like a puppy.  Daddy worked on stripping me down to my undies–my undercoat.  I hate getting stripped, it’s no fun!!

Mommy thinks I look really cute this way.  My back is all soft right now, too, since my undercoat is soft unlike my wire-y outer coat.  The only good thing about being stripped right now is that since it’s summer, it’s hot so less fur means I’ll be a bit cooler.  Well, that and I get some treats when I’m a good boy and don’t squirm too much.

Help me!

Buried in toys

I was wondering what it was like to be buried in the sand at the beach, but since the dog friendly beaches aren’t nearby, I decided to try to bury myself with toys–with a little help from my mommy when we were playing.

Nope, that didn’t work.  Clean up my toys for me now, will you Mommy?  Woof!

Sleep

This is how real Norwich Terriers sleep.

Shh, I’m resting, don’t bother me!  Woof!

Pearly whites

I brush my teeth every day–how about you?  My daddy has to help me a bit since it is hard to hold a toothbrush with my paws.

It doesn’t look so pleasant, but it really isn’t that bad.  The best part of it all?  I have beef flavored toothpaste.  Jealous yet?

If I’m a good boy when Daddy brushes my teeth, I get to lick a bit of the toothpaste off of the toothbrush.  What a treat!  It makes me so happy, I want to keep licking my lips.

How about some more of that toothpaste Daddy?  Woof!

Daycare!

Mommy and Daddy took me on a car ride again.  I didn’t know where we were headed until the car stopped in a familiar place which only meant one thing–daycare!!!  I was so excited, I kept pulling on my lead until we made it there and got to make some new friends!

I’m going to have so much fun–although I think Daddy is upset I didn’t say goodbye to him.  Oh well, see you soon, Daddy!  Woof!

I had a great time visiting my friends and family in Northern California, but it’s time to go back home!

On the road again!  Woof!

I love my BFFs!

I got to see my BFFs yesterday, so much fun!  What did we do, you ask?  We ran around, wrestled some, played tug the plant…all those good things!

I love my BFFs!

They make me so happy!

Day job, part 2

So last time I talked about my important day jobs when Daddy is at work.  Today I’m going to show you my important day job when Daddy is at home!  This is on top of looking cute and sleeping, of course–but that’s a given.

That’s Daddy typing.  Keeping him company is very important while he’s at work on the computer.  I’m not sure if he can manage without me.

My job

I have a few very important jobs to do when Daddy is at work and I’m at home with Mommy.  First and foremost, sleeping:

Second, waiting for Daddy to come home (come back and play with me Daddy!!):

These are all jobs on top of looking cute, of course.  It’s totally hard being me sometimes!

I got a new toy~!

I got a new toy!  I’m so excited, I haven’t gotten a new toy in a long time!

Isn’t it lovely?  My mommy picked it out from the store.  It is stuffingless and has not one but two squeakers in it!

I love my new toy!
